Based on the HT-5R, the HT METAL 5 gets a complete cosmetic and sonic overhaul. Delivering an ultra high gain amp that’s specifically designed to meet the demands of today’s metal guitarists. More than capable of driving a 4x12 cabinet, the HT METAL 5 is the perfect guitar amp for the studio, home and even live use.

Custom Metal Cosmetics

The HT METAL series all feature custom cosmetics designed more for metal guitarists. All the range feature black knobs, metal panel, metal logo and on some models a custom metal grille.

5 Watt, Push-Pull Design

The HT-5 power amplifier is a low powered push-pull design. The HT-5 produces the crunch and haracteristics of a traditional 100W at a lower volume. This is achievable through a 12BH7 dual triode, rich in valve harmonics and compression. sounding full of tone even at the lowest volume level.

Two Footswitchable Channels

The HT-5 has two channels available for selection. A Clean channel and an Overdrive channel. The volume control while on the Clean channel delivers everything from a clean sound to a crunch tone. The overdrive channel also cleans up well using the gain controls.

Digital Reverb

The reverb control sets the level of the reverb effect. With the control counter clockwise there will be no reverb. Turning the control clockwise will increase the amount of reverb.

ISF Control

The ISF control works in conjunction with the Tone control. It allows you to choose the exact tone signature you prefer. Counter clockwise is a more American characteristic with more aggressive mid tones. Clockwise is a British characteristic which is more ‘woody’ and less aggressive.

Speaker Emulated Output

The Blackstar emulated output design is a new benchmark for pro direct recording. This no-compromise design makes it easy to get your tone to disk and tape. You can also use it to run a line out to a PA.
